I took a trip down to FGCU to get a first hand look at items from the Koreshan Unity Collection, a religious sect that believed in the theory of Concave Earth. My report explores the digital archives of this collection in addition to the physical.

For my final paper, I researched how public libraries were challenging bias in the Dewey Decimal System.

I designed a exhibition on Miniatures in Medieval Manuscripts for public libraries. This research heavy assignment will be used as an example for future students.

For the Roles of Information Professionals Poster assignment, I had learn how to utilize Canva to covey the many roles of library managers.
LIS 6110 History of Libraries
Dr. McCook had sent out an invite for students to attend a virtual tour of the library at St. Catherine's Monastery in Mt. Sinai. Through this virtual tour, I learned of the scope of this collection in addition their best practices of preserving books. I presented what I learned to the class during our weekly discussion. I also used what I learned to add a section to the Wikipedia page on the library at St. Catherine's Monastery regarding their stainless steel boxing project.
